Paxos: Beach tips for 2024

Vrika, Antipaxos

Access by sea taxi, they start departing from Gaios central square harbour at 11am.

It is considered one of the best beaches on the island.

It is worth visiting the farthest restaurant (Bella Vista), with its wonderful view.

Access by car

Small, sandy beach, in a quiet harbour, ideal for SUP.

It has a beach bar, umbrellas and sunbeds for rent.

Monodendri

Access by car.

Pebble beach, somewhat rough, popular.

It has a beach bar, umbrellas and sunbeds for rent.

Kipiadi

Access by car & walking on a slightly difficult path (10′).

Crystal clear waters, rocky coastline, suitable for snorkeling.

Ideal when it’s windy because it’s protected.

It is preferred by sailboats and small boats.

Kaki Langada beach

Very close to Gaios, access by car (or on foot ~3km).

Pebbles, clear, crystal waters.

A little shade, relatively easy access to the sea, suitable for all ages.

It has a beach bar.

Levrecchio beach

Near the village of Loggos.

Pebble and turquoise waters.

Restaurants nearby, as well as a small parking lot.

Gianna Beach (Bartek)

The nearest beach to Gaios.

Access on foot.

Pebbly, easy access, popular with locals too.

Very close to all the bars and restaurants.

Harami

Avoid! Avoid swimming at Harami beach in Lakka. It is very beautiful but the waters are not always clean.
